Gustavo Reis is a Ph.D candidate at the University of Extremadura (Spain), and an assistant professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (Portugal). His research interests include applying Evolutionary Algorithms on the Automatic Transcription of Music, with an emphasis on the Piano Music Transcription.
